- Jack Dorsey
At the Bitcoin 2021 conference in Miami, Jack Dorsey famously said “I don’t think there’s anything more important in my lifetime to work on, and I don’t think there’s anything more enabling for people around the world.” He has since left Twitter to work on Bitcoin projects & will most likely be sticking around the space for the long run.
- Mike Tyson
“Iron Mike’ Tyson is well known for being a heavy hitter in the ring, but in recent years he has started to gain a large following for being a “heavy hitter” in the podcast arena, also. Earlier this year, Mike took to twitter to pose the question ” Which do you prefer, BTC or ETH? ” . He later decided on getting into the Solana blockchain. Mike may not be a complete “Bitcoiner”, but he is definitely interested in the space and the capabilities it holds over the shaping of the future.
- Mark Cuban
Mark Cuban once said of the budding cryptocurrency space: ““I think BTC, ETH, a few others will be analogous to those that were built during the dotcom era, survived the bubble bursting and thrived, like AMZN, EBay, and Priceline. Many won’t.” It seems Mark is a big believer in the fact that bitcoin is ushering in a new era of technological capabilities, and will most likely shape the future in no less a way than the internet did in the late 1990’s and early 2000’s.
- Steven Seagal
Steven Seagal is a bitcoiner who, according to the SEC, broke the law when he “failed to disclose he was promised $250,000 in cash and $750,000 worth of “B2G” tokens in exchange for his promotion” of them. Although doing such a thing is terrible and should be punished, it does not change the fact that everyone’s favorate action star from the 90’s is definitely well aware of Bitcoin. Hopefully, he will just stick to buying and HODLing.
- Kanye West
Kanye West once said “‘Stop asking me to do NFTs…for now”. So we can be sure he has an eye on the space. As with all things “Kanye”, when and if he chooses to make NFT’s we will surely hear about it. And you can be sure of another thing – that Kanye west is well aware of Bitcoin and the future of finance – we have not heard the last of him yet on the subject, you can be sure.
- Elon Musk
Elon Musk is one of the more famous faces of Bitcoin and crypto in recent times. He is well known for his quote this year when he said ““If the price of bitcoin goes down, I lose money. I might pump, but I don’t dump. I definitely do not believe in getting the price high and selling or anything like that” and later added that he would like to see “Bitcoin succeed”. With Elon buying twitter recently, it has raised questions on if he plans to implement bitcoin in any way to the platform. He just might do that.
- Snoop Dogg
Snoop Dogg has a very public history with the Cardano blockchain , even creating and minting some NFT’s on the platform. He also has eyes on the metaverse and the possiblities that can bring to the world we live in today. He was quoted as saying “My next record available in bitcoin n delivered in a drone.” – quite a futuristic stance on where he sees his career heading. It will be interesting to see what Snoop Dogg does in the future, but we can be certain he is not only aware of bitcoin, but also heavily involved in it.
- Drew Carey
Drew Carey, the ex host of the wildly funny tv show “Who’s line is it anyway” and the current host of popular American television show “The Price Is Right” has been into Bitcoin for a lot longer than you might expect. Like, since at least 2013. That’s right, Drew Carey posted about Bitcoin on his Twitter page back in April of 2013, saying “Just tried to buy breakfast w bitcoins. Refused. #whenwilltheworldcatchuptomyhipness?” . Well, Mr. Carey – it seems the world has been catching up lately.
- Paris Hilton
Paris Hilton is also one of the more famous celebrities who own bitcoin , but what isn’t as well known is her deep understanding of the importance of the technology and how long she has been investing in it’s future. She is quoted as saying “I see digital currencies definitely rising [again],Right now, what I did, which is what people say, is buy the dip.”. Way to go, Paris.
- Jamie Foxx
Back in 2017, Jamie Foxx endorsed a crypto exchange called “Cobinhood”. This was during the now infamous “ICO craze” that swept through the Bitcoin market at the time and eventually catching a lot of people off guard when venture capitalists and insiders who got in on coins dirt cheap ended up dumping on a lot of unsuspecting investors. Like Segal, let’s hope Jamie learned his lesson is currently just HODLing Bitcoin.
