I just finished my copy of “Think & Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill. For a book that is over 80 years old, it is incredible how accurate and complete it feels here in 2021. The aim of the book is exactly as it sounds and even more. The book starts out talking about how all wealthy and successful people got that way by following In accordance either willingly or unknowingly with a specific set of natural laws that govern the universe.
Hill lists many famous and successful people throughout history and of the time and tells some anecdotal stories about them connecting their behaviors and attitudes. He then introduces 13 principles throughout the rest of the book that should be focused on in order to attain any goal desired – this deals heavily with money and the power that comes with it. Some of the principles are faith, decision and persistence. The concept of electromagnetism in regards to the unseen interaction between one and others is central to the understanding of how to utilize this book.
It also provides something very helpful ( just like in “Rich dad / Poor dad” ) it has many parts that are questionnaires, or that prompt you to write down your goals , answer personal questions to yourself and generally flesh out your thoughts into paper and turn them into actionable goals and things that exist in the physical world. In fact, one of the founding principles of this book is the importance of making a decision 100 % and having faith in that decision but being willing to readjust your plan as many times as it takes.
The secret of success in this book is shining through the tone and ruthlessly weaponized faith for personal gain and self hypnosis are in my opinion unmatched in regards to accumulating wealth and abundance and generally bringing forth into the world and your life whatever you can imagine and dream. This book should be in every entrepreneurs library & if it was written 1000 years ago instead of almost 100 – it could have been considered forbidden knowledge-wizardry capable of granting just an unfair insanely sick advantage in all endeavors in life upon one who stumbled upon it and understood it’s contents. Maybe not much has changed.
Thanks for reading my review of “Think & Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill. 🙂
